A random place I did not expect to exist. As you walk in the decoration is bright vibrant and well laid out which made it very inviting. The server was astute and friendly. I ordered the chilaquiles and substituted it for pollo and a horchata. The horchata is made the way it should be in a big Styrofoam container with lots of ice. It was refreshing to cut down the salsa picante. Which I preferred over the green salsa.
The rice was fluffy as it should be and chicken seasoned well. The bed of tortilla was also good. I would visit again if I'm around the neighborhood. The prices are comparable to most good latin establishments.
Great authentic food, good customer service and very pleasant vibe all around. Only thing I’d like to add is please make the sign of the restaurant more eye catching, maybe add a big Mexican flag at the door. We missed the restaurant twice as it’s very dimly lit. Other than that, it was a fantastic experience.
Was craving Mexican food and wanted to try out a new spot. Any way, delicious food! The guacamole was perfect and tortilla chips were really good. I was debating on getting tacos, enchiladas or flautas. Ended up with the enchiladas and I was very impressed. A lot of flavour! The frijoles and rice were both amazing. The horchata was probably one of the best I’ve ever had here in Toronto. I definitely want to come back and try the tacos.
Ordered their tacos, beef and chicken combination. The green and red dip sauces added kicks to the toco flavors. They were authentic and tasty. Their guacamole was very good too. The place was clean and cultural, the service was not very attentive but was okay.
People say that if you can master the art of basic authentic food of any cuisine, you can pretty much excel in any dish.
This place has mastered the art of making guacamole.
Overall great food and good vegetarian options. Okayish ambiance but who cares when the food is delicious.
