Mandy’s Bengals

Hi Kris and Amanda,
I wanted to give you an update about ‘my little boy’ Jaxson and how well he has adapted to his new forever home. The first day or two he meowed quite a bit missing his mom and litter mates and he spent most of the time in his bed on the towel with his mom’s scent; but once he settled down all was well and we have really bonded. He has become my side kick and likes to follow me around and be in the same room as me.
When I visited your website and read how you decided to adopt your first Bengal it was for these same reasons I wanted to adopt a Bengal cat as well. I wanted a cat that was almost ‘dog like’, a low shedder with a big personality and liked to interact with people, and oh boy is Jaxson that and even more (we even play fetch now)!
I had visited a couple of other breeders before coming to Mandy’s Bengals and was not very impressed with their operation. When I first came to your home I was happy to see the kittens out and about playing with each other and how clean your set up was compared to other places I had been to. As a first time pet owner I had a lot of questions, not just about the Bengal breed but also on how to be a good pet owner and both of you spent quite a bit of time with me answering all my questions, and I never felt rushed. Even once I decided to adopt Jaxson you were both very accommodating with letting me visit again and of course answer even more questions.
Everyone comments as to how beautiful Jaxson is and how they have never seen a kitten that looks like him. His coat colouring & markings and blue eyes are just amazing. He has a very friendly and loving disposition, you can tell he has been very well socialized. He enjoys everyone’s company, is very playful and does not run and hide even when we get a bit loud cheering on our favourite sports teams! And when he is ready to chillax he is the best cuddler! I never had an incident with him using his litter box, or eating. Every morning Jaxson can sense when I wake up and is there near my bed waiting for me to greet him. Once he’s fed we play and then he is off running and exploring. He has quite a personality, we love playing with him and also watching him play which can be hilarious at times.
I can’t express how happy I was with the entire process, and how even now you continue to answer my questions, stay in touch and send me info. After my first visit I left thinking ‘you can tell they love their cats.” I highly recommend Mandy’s Bengals to anyone looking for a boutique breeder who provides a loving and happy environment for both their own Cats (Leo and Kiki) and their kittens.
Jaxson is an adorable kitten with a distinctive character and sheer beauty. Thanks for letting me be a member of the Mandy’s Bengal family.
