Cherif took on our case midway through, after we were unsuccessful with our previous paralegal. At this point in the game, we needed an honest opinion about the strength of our case to ensure it was worthwhile to move forward. Cherif reviewed it in detail before taking the claim on indicating that we had a good case against the defendant.

We had initiated the claim in Small Claims Court back in the spring of 2013, hiring a paralegal in the fall of 2013 after we were unsuccessful in settling with the defendant. After getting the run-around and not making any progress we decided to hire on a lawyer, Cherif.

Cherif was persistent with the defence counsel, always being the one who was proactive in moving the case forward. As the case progressed, and new information came up, he kept us in the loop. If we had to make a decision on something, he would present the possible options, providing his preference, but never forcing it, allowing us to make the final decision.

After only working the case for a few months, and dealing with a defence counsel who was slow to respond, Cherif was able to settle our case for an adequate amount. We are very thankful for all the hard work that he put into this and glad that it is over. We will definitely recommend Cherif to our friends and family if they ever need a lawyer.
