This is for the Vaughan Campus and the Instructor: Mr. Rossi.
The school itself is quite large. Classrooms are spacious and the shop area is huge. It provides plenty of space to work without feeling crowded.
Mr. Rossi was a fantastic instructor. I felt he treated us as though we were already apprentices working on the job and he was our journeyman instead of a 'normal' teacher/student relationship. I personally learned a lot from him and his experience in the field.
You will definitely get out of this what you put in. Hard work will pay off.
I am coming to a end of my course for my plumbing class and all I have to say is nothing but positive things. The school is very effective because it is mostly hands on like you are actually doing the trade. I wasn't too sure how it would be considering there is a pandemic going on but the staff and factuality at STC handle protocols very well keeping all the students and teachers safe, all around good school if you are looking to get into the trades
Almost done my Pre-Apprenticeship plumbing course. My experience so far has been great. If you are looking for lots of hands on hours with materials and equipment you would only be able to access during an apprenticeship, this school is for you. I feel like I have a jumpstart to getting my apprenticeship going once I'm finished here. My instructor Mr. Rossi has been great. Tough guy, but teaches the right way, lets you figure out the answer yourself rather than just giving it to you and sending you on your way. The staff involved in enrollment and other such things has been attentive and lovely to deal with.
I currently attend the skilled trades college in Vaughan in the plumbing pre apprentice program . This program has been excellent so far teaching great plumbing skills and incorporating a lot of hands on work . Mr. Rossi is a very good instructor with great knowledge in the space . I have also been surprised with how well they have handled the pandemic keeping a safe learning space and following all necessary protocols .
Currently a student at Vaughan campus taking the pre apprentice plumbing course and I am loving it so far , the staff and instructors are very kind and great at teaching ! I also notice that they are taking very good precautions regarding the pandemic. I highly recommend this school to anyone who is planning on getting into the trades business.
