Willow Wharf Park

A nice spot to drop by at. Though weekends can be more problematic with many people visiting from out of town, making it very crowded and less pleasant. Reason why the locals are having problems about that and enforced rules about parking and loitering there.

Great place to stop and have a sausage and icecream over looking the lake.

Very nice place, where you feel connected to the nature around you before even get here.
The beach has a lot of rocks, but if you would to the end of the pier you'll go straight to the sand bottom.
The place also offers good depth, where you can walk with the water at shoulders level, or deeper, but it also has areas with shallow water, great to take small kids.
Finally, the water temperature is very pleasant (July) due the lake very shallow depth in this region (5m).
