Farm Fresh Produce

It was my first time visiting the Mennonites and their market and it was an utter delight! All produce beam with their life force, wholly fresh from the field. You see, smell & feel their vitality. Non GMO produce, not even the sweet corn. When asked they described how they were as restrictive as possible using pesticides, or any chemicals, for that matter. Most produce need nothing and are so called clean. You get hold of a shopping cart and fill with what you need for your planned harvest projects meeting the coming winter, you go in to the cashier, where you'll also find all their freshly canned produce further inspiring and it is mouth watering. Plenty of various pickles, relishes, fermented sourkrout including this years maple syrup. You leave feeling very rich! What an encounter!

Made a half inch slice on bread with miracle whip...
Tasted so great that I drove back to get a dozen more.

Exceptional produce and products. Very good prices. Friendly staff and the farm surrounding the place is beautiful. Well worth a trip from Ottawa.

This vegetable market is AMAZING! On my next visit I will make sure to have a few coolers on hand to fill up.
Their vegetables are so healthy and the size of the cabbage OH MY goodness they are big..
I am camping and my husband said it was a market to go to and I am so glad I did.
We ars beef farmers from Balderson, Ontario and I so enjoy buying straight from another fellow farmer.
It's a must to stop in if your in the area!
