What an unexpected gem! Great food made from scratch and presented beautifully! We ordered the Chicken Parmigiano and the Meatloaf Sandwich. Both were delicious! Definitely not your average diner fare! I look forward to eating here again whenever I'm in tge area!
Excellent, elegant, delicious and approachable. Staff were incredibly generous and knowledgeable. Food was remarkable. It's a real diamond. Worth the drive!
A lovely spot.
I was in town with a few hours to kill so after sitting by the river I wandered into this little restaurant for some soup and tea. I am glad that I did!
The soup was a lovely tomato & basil soup with Parmesan cheese. The soup was in a beautiful bowl and the flavour was full and clean; it also had a lovely aroma thanks to the fresh basil leaves on top. It also came with a bun which was crispy on the outside and fluffy inside.
I enjoyed watching the sun set over the river as I ate it slowly (about an hour without feeling rushed to leave)
The tea selection was small but well curated. And I was grateful to have it to go with the pudding that I ordered for dessert.
The decor is subtle, tasteful, and very clean with beautiful artwork on the walls.
I hope to stop in again next week to try another soup.
We love your family sized take-outs! What a treat to have a dinner pick up option with such delicious features and home style comfort foods that are made in house. Highly recommend! Looking forward to dinning in for a date night once it's possible and trying out some of your signature features.
Gem of a restaurant. Pleasant service. I had the maple butter pork chop which was succulent and delicious. My wife had the meatloaf sandwich, also amazing. We started with a Caesar salad, very good and not smothered in too much dressing. Only minor deduction for not having a proper exhaust fan - you’ll definitely have the kitchen scent on your clothes.
