We are a group of paddlers who hit this place regularly for years. This section of the Madawaska river is full of fun and Didi and Doug were always helpful to make your trip easier and smoother. They would provide free cold or hot beverages at the end of the trip depending on the weather, and it makes all the difference to have a hot tea at the take out on a cold day. The gears and canoes met our expectation and they just invested in some new gears. We will definitely continue to visit for the years to come.

Doug and Didi went above our expectations this past weekend! From the moment we arrive on Saturday we felt the welcoming and the hospitality of this place! They were patient enough to deal with our loud and excited group! Had an absolutely amazing time! We had a group of 16 people that had no white water paddling experience, with some that have never been in a canoe. Madawaska River Rentals went above and beyond and got us a two trainers for the group, and once the trainer assessed our group level, they assisted to find another route and camping site on the Madawaska river that was better suited for our group.
