Saffco Electrical Heating & Plumbing

Had A/C unit installed by Saffco in 2018. 4 years later I find out (from KOOL-Temp) that refrigerant had leaked out. Kool-Temp installer called it shoddy workmanship. Repair will cost $1000. Do not employ Saffco. I found out the hard way!
In the end they were willing to pressure test the A/C unit, repair leaks and top up the refrigerant free of charge.

I was having a thermostat emergency during the coldest week of winter (-35). My thermostat needed to be replaced and since I had called a few HVAC companies and no one was available, I decided to post for help on FB and maybe some amateur handyman would help. I already had purchased the new thermostat.

A gentleman named Sheldon responded to my posting and offered to come over right away (dinner time).

He arrived at my home within 15 minutes.

Sheldon had the thermostat replaced and the furnace tested within 15 minutes.

I did not know Sheldon was with SAFFCO Heating, Electrical & Plumbing and he did not mention it. If was obvious he was at my house to do a good deed.

But I figured out that he was with SAFFCO Electrical, Heating and Plumbing when I looked out my window and saw his truck. That explained why he was able to install the thermostat in record time! Lol!

Sheldon refused to take any payment. Can you believe that? Of course you can! This is Pembroke and there are so many fine, upstanding, caring people in this city.

I will be giving SAFFCO my business going forward. I am so very grateful to Sheldon and to SAFFCO for having such a wonderful representative on their team!

This kind of service is almost unheard of in this day and age and when a company proves they are professional AND caring like SAFFCO proved tonight, that deserves our support.

Had a drain blocked and they were able to come the next day. Plumber was amazing and took the time to ensure my entire pipe was cleared to the main stack.
What a difference!

I called Saffco because of issues with my furnace. From what I heard they were decent.

From my experience I would say that Kyle who came was excellent. Pleasure to speak with, very knowledgeable and had it fixed quick. Could not believe that it did not feel like a service call. Just great will be calling Saffco in future when I have an issue that I cannot fixed.

Will be recommending.
