Best groomer by far. My dog is always so happy to go there, even though she is very reactive and definitely a handful for Karelia, she has never made me feel like I’m a burden bringing my doggo in. Very reasonably priced for the amount of expertise and work they have to do. Always happy with the groom.

Amazing staff who go the extra mile. They always do a fantastic job with our little guy ✂️ it's one of the only places where our pal hasn't demonstrated any discomfort or upset with the grooming process.

New to area, picked dogs by Kate from reviews. Very happy with service from being greeted, text about nail problem on one dog, they looked smelled great were happy and I got the xmas package which includes the cutest pictures sent by email. I'd recommend Lori to anyone. Prices inline with most groomers. We will be back

I needed a groomer for my dog for the summer months when I’m on vacation. I had used a previous place that closed down. My 2 year old Bichpoo was starting to get a bit matted (once she gets to a certain length she starts to mat overnight). I looked at a few different places in Pembroke, but Dogs by Kate had the best reviews. I reached out to them by email and got a response in under 24 hours. They were pretty booked up, so I asked them to keep me in mind for a cancellation and they happened to have one immediately. I felt great about the place when dropping her off, it was very clean and looked nice and new & you can actually see the groomers so they’re not hidden behind doors or anything. I told her what I was looking for and any issues and they were great & very understanding. I was very happy when I picked Marvel up. She had a cute little bow collar around her neck and looked great. I asked the groomer if she could just cut back the hair above her eyes a little bit more and they had no problem doing that too. She looked great and was very calm and wasn’t scared to be there. The prices might seem a bit expensive (they have everything listed on their Facebook page) but they’re identical to the prices in Ottawa or any of the surrounding areas, it actually ended up being a bit cheaper than I thought it was going to be. All in all, very happy about this place and glad I found it. Will definitely be using it every summer.
