Efficiency First Insulation & Contracting

I had these guys do an attic upgrade for me, and I’ll definitely call them again next time I need something done. Andrew promptly answered the phone any time I called, and showed up exactly when he said he would to look at my attic, which was greatly appreciated since I took time off of work to meet him. He gave me several options for what they could do, I chose to go with a blown-in attic upgrade instead of spray foam because it was the most cost effective solution right now and would likely fix my ice damming issue at the same time. When it came time for them to do the work, I just left the door unlocked so they could come and go without me having to take off work, and the only sign they had been there was a few footprints outside in the snow. They added plenty of insulation to my attic and built a barrier around the attic hatch to hold the insulation in, which was nice to see as I wasn’t expecting them to do that. I already notice a huge difference in how frequently my furnace runs, and for the first time all winter, there’s still snow on my roof after a snowfall so fingers crossed that the insulation fixes my ice damming problems next winter!

I contracted Efficiency First for a client for a large shed. I was impressed with the attention to detail of covering everything up (light receptacles, switches, etc) and the great clean up afterwards. Him and his team did a very professional job and I look forward to working with them again.

Joel and his crew were very flexible and easy to work with. I got my attic insulation topped up to lower our heating/cooling costs - the process took a single morning. I will definitely use them again.
