Pita Shack

We came in from out of town as we are looking at homes up here and we stopped in for a quick bite. What can I say… I had the best pita I’ve ever had in my life. Honestly I love Mediterranean food and where I’m from we have several options that are very good. The pita was so delicious and the tzatziki was incredible. A taste explosion for sure. My son had a burger and fries and he loved his burger and his fries were perfect. I can’t wait to find a home and move up here so I can become a regular. Im dying for another pita already! Thank you guys! Don’t stop being you.

This is the first 5 star rating I have given in a long time, and I think the first in Petawawa! The Pita Shack has been consistent again and again when I visit in person or order delivery. They have delivered quality food, on time, every time, and it has all the qualities of a restaurant you'd want to be regulars at. I will say I have heard people say the location doesn't have much curb appeal but honestly, who cares.The Pita Shack rings reminiscent of a "meal like grandma used to make.” The servings are incredibly generous, the service is friendly, I have been offered taste tests of things I haven’t had before when I was in the restaurant, and more importantly, every time I have ordered from them I felt like they viewed me as “one of the regulars” too. The feta fries are hands down the best fries I have ever had, and they are just as good and crispy (somehow?!) when ordered for delivery and the Shack Platter can't be beat. The Pita Shack values their customers and you won’t regret being loyal customers here.

Great food! Had a lunchbox which was keto and gluten free. Big portions. Great value for money. Lots of gyros, burgers, fries and many other options to choose from.

I haven't been here in many years. My experience was an excellent one. The food was just as I remembered, good, filling, and flavor like no other. the owner is the same as years before as well. Funny and very attentive to what we liked.

If you're in the mood for some delicious Mediterranean food, then Pita Shack is the place to go! This family business offers amazing customer service and a friendly atmosphere. The food is freshly made daily and homemade from scratch, which is always a plus. The quantity of food is huge, and the falafel is out of this world! But the hummus and tzatziki...oh man, it's off the charts!

One of the best things about Pita Shack is that you don't have to pick from the menu - they'll make bowls and wraps to your liking. Sofie, is an absolute sweetheart who makes food with love. If you're a fan of long drives, then it's worth making the trip to Pita Shack. It's a must-try spot if you love Mediterranean food. I highly recommend this place!
