St. Joseph's Food Bank

Very friendly, great to have in the community.

Where does a person start, St Joseph's food bank is more then the description implies.
I've have held my head high through most of my adult life.
We came to Pembroke in 2019 and if it wasn't for our story being a verifiable certainty one may think it's all made up.
We lost our home our belongings in Storage and were un a flood we stayed 5 mths in a motel. We then were able to go to Petawawa and stay on a seasonal park.
This past spring we were informed the park was sold and we had to move. We were given a short amount of time to find a place. We didn't and became homeless in a tent at riverside park. We are settled for the winter and St Joseph's has given us dignity & respect, never have they judged us. They are the blueprint of humanity in my opinion. We are good people having a human experience and we couldn't survive at this time without them. God bless them all and thank you.

I go there for my NA meetings where I meet other addicts to share my experience strength and Hope on my recovery. That meeting saved my life
