I Love Batstones! it's small enough to be sooo intimate with the performers, and other patrons; it's small town enough to be friendly and relaxed, and its uptown enough to have an amazing array of incredible artists. I saw Colin Linden there recently and it was amazing to be so close so in touch with him and his performance! thank you dean for being brave and adventurous enough to do this!
Great spot to see local and touring musicians. Small, intimate location with amazing acoustics! Hope to see many more concerts there
I must say that Batstone’s Northern Ramble is probably the best listening room that I’ve ever been in… And in my almost 50 years, I have seen hundreds of live shows globally.
Music has the ability to heal the soul…There’s magic in his venue that I can’t really explain, but you feel it as soon as you step through the doors. The musicians that have graced his stage have been stellar! Every performance is like having a private concert in your own living room! Dean’s hospitality is outstanding and as soon as you enter, you immediately feel welcome!
Thank-you Dean for your vision and for bringing this beautiful venue to Renfrew!
Batstone’s Northern Ramble is a very special listening room. The acoustics are incredible in this 130 year old former Baptist church. In less than a year I have been to over 80 shows, so I feel highly qualified to tell you that Dean knows what he’s doing when he is booking singer songwriters and preforming himself. It’s a wonderful, welcoming, engaging venue, and all of the patrons are treated like family the moment they set foot inside the Batstone’s Northern Ramble doors.
