As you go through such a difficult journey during a loss, it was very comforting to know that Goulet Funeral Home was there to provide us with guidance and support. They respected every wish our loved one desired. Natasha kindly offered us a safe environment to express your needs and concerns without ever judging our reason. This past September we suffered a huge loss and Goulet Funeral Home was there every step of the way. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts – The Culligan-Laplante Family!

I've removed my original review out of respect.

Following the passing of one of my Grandmother's best friends I heard from their family that the Goulets will now no longer allow pall bearers into the vault, which I think is for the best. There are realities to the funeral industry I couldn't possibly understand as an outsider, I don't need to. All I need to do is mourn, and unfortunately that mourning was turned to anger when the veil was lifted back too far.

Even if they only changed the policy to avoid angry mourners, the intent is irrelevant, the right decision was made.

I can't imagine dealing with grieving families week in and week out but I would only remind the Goulets that for us it's the saddest week of our lives, for you it's just a Wednesday. We shouldn't be able to tell the difference.

I feel as if the ceremony and respect for the dead has decreased, and my personal values don't allow that. There is ceremony to be upheld, practices to be kept, and respect to be deservedly given.

That being said the Goulets have done and will continue to do a lot of good for the community, and will continue to help families through some of their worst moments. For taking on the vocation and caring for our loved ones they deserve respect. They have earned mine.
