Spent my childhood camping here with my entire family and extended family. Loved it. No better memories than being at Oastler Park.
Wonderful park. Lots to see and do here. Explore the park and water during the day and get cozy by the campfire after dusk. Lots of flowers, plants, mushrooms and insects to see while doing some hiking.
The campsites were well developed and had great views to the lake. The park rents out kayaks, canoes and stand-up paddles at a very reasonable fee; during COVID they are not handing out floatation devices (life vests), and will not let you rent boats without your own vest. All around you have beautiful lake and great sunrise and sunset views and it's worth the visit. I'd give this park a 5 rating, only if the washrooms were kept cleaner especially during the pandemic.
I mean one of the best parks by far.
The scenary is so beautiful. Camp sites are on water directly. Some weren't but the ones on the water are beautiful.
Park is very clean. Bathrooms are sanatized often.
Staff is very friendly.
Rentals are open for canoes, kayak but no life jacket rentals. Bring your own.
