(March 19, 2021, 2:37 pm)Wider Sky Farms is a big reason we love living where we live - there's a fantastic array of farms and farm stores nearby that offer some incredible produce and meats. WSF grows and sells THE BEST potatoes we've EVER eaten. Period. The texture and the flavour of their organic russets is second to none. They make amazing roasted potatoes, incredible mashed and we also make air fryer French fries with them that are sensational.
More expensive than your run of the mill supermarket variety but you get what you pay for (they are organic) and WSF potatoes last a LOT longer than the supermarket variety because they leave the soil on the potato which prevents it from going rotten too soon. We were throwing a lot of potatoes from the supermarket in the garbage because they go bad so quickly. Not so with the ones we get from WSF.
This is our "go to" place for potatoes from now on. Great people, great service, great product. What more could you ask for really?
