Yes there was a wait time (it’s a walk-in clinic so I’m not sure what you expected?) but Dr. MacLean was so worth the wait. She was so kind and genuinely cared about my concerns about my baby. She provided knowledgeable suggestions for treatment. I wish she were my family doctor. Thank you

Hardworking individuals who hustle non stop. Straight to the point - no time for friendly chit chat with patients, as demand for health care is constant and top priority.
Lots of informative posters and signs to answer questions patients may have to save time at registration.
I hopefully wont be back, but should I need a doctor in a jiffy, I'll be at Bellfarm (unless registration is closed due to high volume of patients, and try to show up before 8:30pm to get a chair as they stop accepting patients to close on time, which is 10pm).

I visited this clinic today and I can not relate to these bad reviews. From my experience this is a totally standard walk-in clinic, with nothing standing out as amazing or terrible. Generally no experience in a walk in clinic is great and this one is no exception.

Here is a basic outline of my experience:
    - I went in today (on a Saturday) at 10:16 (they opened at 10) and waited in line for under 10 minutes
    - the receptionist was professional and efficient giving me an estimated wait time of "at least 2-2 1/2 hours"
    - I asked if it was possible to leave,so she gave me a ticket saying to be back and checked back in with this ticket by 12pm, adding that at that time she would be able to give me a better estimate of wait time. (The ticket said this is not an appointment time to see the doctor, it is only a time to return to maintain your spot in the queue. If you do not return by this time you may be removed from the list and your spot may be reassigned).
    - I came back at 11:55 and checked in with no line. I was told there were only 4 patients ahead of me and asked to stay.
    - I came prepared with a book and phone to entertain myself (knowing every walk-in clinic inevitably requires waiting) but there were plenty of seats and it was generally quiet
    - registration closed at 12:20 because they reached capacity (they didn't close until 4)
    - other patients in the waiting room complained about having to wait so long and others talked about how standard this wait time was
    - at 12:45 I was called into the room
-I saw Dr. Fakour, she was friendly, very professional and efficient (but she did not make me feel rushed)
    - I left with a satisfactory outcome at 1:05

Total wait time was under 3 hours. I waited in the clinic for about 1 hour and 10 minutes.

I have been to dozens of walk-ins all around Canada and no one wants to spend hours of their busy lives (especially with a sick child) waiting to see a doctor. The complains in these reviews are characteristic of many clinic experiences; wait times are often 3+ hours, they often stop accepted patients far earlier then you would expect, the doctors and staff often feel the need to rush, etc. Know this and prepare yourself! I question if this clinic deserves such a low rating...
