Desilicious

Found this restaurant just by chance today and very glad we did. Have tried all local Indian restaurants. All are quite good. Desilicious was excellent! Great variety including for the vegetarians in our group, well priced, large servings, absolutely delicious, fast-even though very busy, looks nice inside! Good service, they were busy so we had to call a few times before we got through but totally worth it. Can't wait for things to open back up so we can actually sit in. Highly recommend! Enjoy! Edit: I just read some of the reviews here. One person believes the good reviews are planted. Sheesh, I don't think so! The place was very busy, our experience was awesome and we for sure are not planted. Barrie has a big population of Indian citizens as well as visitors, many who live in the vicinity (International students at the college) so, do not at all believe these are false reviews, try the place out and see for yourself.

Very happy that our neighbour recommended Desi-Licious. We really enjoy this food but often find it difficult to find a restaurant willing to work around food allergies. Tomato is a common component in Indian cuisine but, for us, is a food allergy. The person who took our order spent time going over the menu to recommend items as well as conferring with the kitchen to "work around" some dishes to make it without tomato. Perhaps since everything is freshly made in house, they were able to accomplish this. More than anything, I believe it was the clear, customer-focused approach that made it possible. All of the dishes we ordered were delicious!! Portions and prices incredible!! We will definitely return. Thank you for being so considerate.

Highly recommend trying this place. I specially travelled from Toronto to Barrie just to try the food and it was worth the time. All the food items i ordered were delicious and the presentation was up to the mark as well.

The efforts and hard work are quite visible in the food. Kudos to you #desilicious. Keep up the amazing service. ??
