I have visited this dental office and had a fantastic experience. I am a reluctant and anxious patient and they have treated me with so much patience and understanding. Dr. Salter is by far the best dentist I have seen. I appreciate that she doesn't push aggressive treatments and finds feasible solutions for treatment. She operates with a level of honesty and integrity that I have not found elsewhere. As an anxious patient, I also appreciate her reassurance and ability to talk me through complex procedures. In addition to the exceptional dentists, the front staff is wonderful. They give you the reassurance that everything is under control, from an administrative perspective, as well as pairing you with the right dentist for your needs. They have followed up after my kids appointments and you feel the sincerity in their calls. I would give them additional stars if I was able to. I highly recommend this practice.

Came for a cleaning/checkup and was taken care of from the moment I walked in to the moment I left. Knowledgeable staff and very friendly! The place was clean and bright just like my teeth were when I left! I came back to have two cavities filled and the staff made sure I was comfortable at all times. I had two cavities filled and shortly after I experienced severe pain and sensitivity. I went back a month after the filling and the pain was still unbelievably severe. The dentist was kind and patient giving me options for the possible pain and what I can do. I decided to wait. After another 3 weeks, the pain was not going away and I got very angry. I was not an easy client when I went back in Monday April 3rd. The staff did not explain themselves clearly and made it sound like they did a filling without knowing the full extent of the issue. However, the reason I am giving them a four star and will go back to them is because they apologized, they took the time to help me, to explain everything to me, in detail using layman's terms. They made the effort to help. I appreciate this honesty and understanding in a business and will be going back there for more work once this pain has settled. (it turns out I’m a hardcore grinder!)

Best experience I have ever had at a dentist. I require special attention in order to obtain proper freezing on my lower jaw otherwise I still have nearly full sensation & of course pain during any procedure. Dr. Salter was extremely patient & understanding in mitigating these issues as it normally takes up to 3 separate freezing techniques to achieve a proper block on my lower jaw. Other dentists in the past have instead just sent me out to be put under when requiring routine procedures ... which is an unnecessary ordeal.

I've been lucky over the years to have been treated by competent dental professionals, but the staff at Huronia Dental go over and above to ensure your experience is a positive one. Not only is the quality of care exceptional but the administrative staff also look after all your needs. Highly recommend this office to anyone, especially the little ones as the waiting room is a place they will love to come back to play. You can always hear the sound of laughter throughout the entire office.
