I have followed J.R. Newton's art for many years and am lucky enough to own several oil paintings. John is a highly skilled and visionary artist. He is a master storyteller who takes viewers on a journey, evoking emotions and leaving them deeply touched. John also shares his gift with others as a teacher who inspires and challenges. J R Newton Art -- John is an incredibly talented, classically trained artist. While I am not a painter, he was able to give me drawing and inking lessons that completely changed the way I approached form, anatomy and line work. I love drawing in ink (self-taught for most my life) but John was able to help me improve incredibly--even from the get-go with the first lesson! Not only do I recommend him for his commissioned oil painting works, but also approach him for private lessons--it's worth it.
