I wanted to import a glass top table from the USA to Ontario Canada. the table cost $779 USD. I contacted various brokers to clear the shipment. I selected Near North. He even went so far as to call the vendor to ensure the documentation the vendor needed to prepare would be complete so as to ensure a problem free importation. This was above and beyond the "call of duty" of customs brokers. In addition to this great service Near North was also offered the cheapest brokerage fee at $46 CAD. One broker [Livingston International] quoted $180. Now that represents an insane differential. In conclusion I strongly recommend that anyone needing the services of a customs brokers contact Neil Dennison at Near North for the best in service and price. Based on my lengthy research there is no need to consider anyone else.
