Great knowledgeable staff that can actually relate to you . Financial planners are the best in the business !! Trust me I have sat through many false promises and speeches recently . They were at least honest and realistic with their planning !! I'm a 38 year member of another bank and I'm switching over!!
EDIT: First I gave them a 5 star review, wow boy has that changed.
Ive called over 10 times when my car was in a wreck and told the person is not there. Finally the 10th time I asked why and received a bit snarky of a response to call the main number instead.
Well thanks RBC it was good to know I had someone local to talk to , those days are over and so is my business as soon as my insurance expires I will be moving on, not to mention other insurance companies quotes for my situation are over $500 cheaper per year.
I'm extremely disappointed with the service I received from RBC today.
I inquired about car insurance rates for a new car I was interested in taking. I currently already have home auto and banking services with RBC. I was advised that my rates would not increase more than $8 more a month for the vehicle I was considering. So I went ahead with the purchase locking into a 7 year contract after spending three days nickel and dining to ensure I would be able to afford it. Cutting it close to $50 a month I was assured that "I don't have to worry".
I call back today to go over the details and was advised that now I will need to pay $29 more a month. The woman argued with me for twenty minutes refusing to take responsibility for her mistake! Finally she admitted that she made a mistake after pissing me off enough. Still insisting that there's nothing she could do, she's not sure where she got that number from. Instead of trying to make things right with me, or even uphold a positive business experience I was told that there's nothing more she can do and if I don't like it, then to look with another provider. I have been a RBC client for 18 years opening my first account with you. I am Mortified that a company would treat a long time client this way let alone take no action to make things right or rectify the situation in some way. I will be switching all of my services else where if this how your employees view business. I don't even know what else to say except I'm pissed off that I was screwed over by you and if you truly care about your clients and their banking needs then you'll amend this and make it right.
****Update i was contacted by a RBC rep a week later who was able to guarantee me the rate i was promised
I still only give 4 stars because the stress during that time period could have been avoided. It was a bad experience, just to get what was initially offered
Had a great experience with Brian who filled in for the lady I was originally supposed to meet with but unfortunately she was tied up. Brian was great he knew exactly what was going on didn't really have to explain why I was there. That was great. I am also very happy that when the lady I originally got the auto quote from was able to find a way to make it cheaper for me then originally discussed.
