The staff was very friendly and the mechanic took the time to explain what happened with my machine to ensure I was walking away a happy customer! (January 4, 2019, 3:17 pm)Stihl BR600 Blower Fuel Cap problem. I found the positive close fuel cap to be a problem on the Stihl Blower within the first year of use. Many times it would be difficult to close, and would surprise me by running fuel down my backside onto my jeans. Finally, it became literally impossible to seal it closed. I went on line and found Stihl US had a recall on these, and verified my serial number was included in the recall. Brought it to Richview and they checked with Stihl Canada who did not participate in the recall. Richview did what they could, I find no fault in their service. I do find fault in Stihl Canada for not recognising this design issue in the fuel cap. I have since replaced the cap with a non OEM version and it works perfectly. Stihl Canada saved themselves a few dollars and lost a customer.
