Waterdogs K9 Center

I brought my 11 month old Aussiedoodle named Ivy to Waterdogs K9 with, what I thought, was the unrealistic dream of getting her to stop pulling while walking on leash, stop barking to meet other dogs on leash and having a great recall. Janet is PHENOMENAL at what she does (not to mention just a great person to be around). After four lessons with Janet, Ivy walks calmly beside me on leash, doesn't bark to greet other dogs and has a recall I could've never imagined possible. She now has the freedom to run around off leash on trails and live a MUCH happier life. In addition to addressing my concerns, Janet also solidified many obedience commands that Ivy only "half" knew, like down (without a hand signal) and place. The transformation I've seen in Ivy was beyond what I thought possible and she is now a more confident, happier version of herself. For anyone considering whether or not to send their dog to Waterdogs K9, please trust me and do it. It will be the best decision you make during your dog's life. WOW! I wish I found Janet years ago! I brought my 9.5 YEAR old bullmastiff in for training - I had spoiled him his whole life and never asked him for much. We completed the 4 sessions using the E-collar & now my boy walks like a true gentleman, recalls, & follows through with commands! Janet has not only taught my dog, she has taught me & I am forever thankful. If you are like me, worried that asking something of your dog will make him love you less... it doesn't, the bond you share will only get stronger & I will highly recommend Janet time & time again.

We are very fortunate to meet Janet. She has been helping us with our little Choco who has separation anxiety. Choco participated at the Board and Train program. In one week we were able to see the difference. We still have more work to do, but Janet gave us advice on how to continue the training. We would like to participate on more programs in the future. I did a lot of research when looking for a trainer for my dog Maple. I did not want to waste my time or money as I am a student, and I had worked with other trainers in the past that did not help with Maples problems. Janet was amazing, she was able to work within my budget and truly help both Maple and I. Maple is very anxious and has trouble meeting new people. I started working with Janet at the end of the summer. To say that Maple has improved dramatically would be an understatement. Before Maple would not be able to sit in the same room as a stranger, and now she is able to sit quietly, although she is still visibly uncomfortable, she has come so far from where she was before. I am so glad that I had to opportunity to work with Janet and am very grateful for what she has done for Maple and me. I would 100 percent recommend Waterdogs to anyone!

Janet is amazing at what she does! Great with step by step levels of training. She knows the behaviour of different breeds and can help with the training of Dog/Owner. Going above and beyound for every client that walks through her doors, Janet would do anything to ensure a dog has a happy and healthy life. I honestly cannot say enough good things and highly recommend her.
