We had a wonderful experience with Building U. The Granny Squibb Team participated in their first $4YT event and very much look forward to their next. The organizers were easy to communicate with and we were extremely impressed with the students. This is a wonderful initiative that we are proud to be a part of.
I became a student ambassador at Building-U a few months ago, to this day it's the best organization I've ever worked with. Building-U is a friendly, collaborative environment where everyone is thoughtful and understanding of each other's ideas. If you are a student deciding to work at Building-U or even just look more into our organization, do it. Building-U is a great place that offers their hand to help students like us.
I am a high school intern for Building-U and would really recommend checking out their site! There are a lot of resources relating to post-secondary opportunities. A lot of work is put into ensuring students benefit from the site and are presented with interesting options! 11/10 recommend!!
I fell in love with this non-profit the first time I clicked into their website. I couldn't believe there were so many resources and opportunities, from educational programs to funding options, right in front of my eyes. It's everything a student could want in one neat, bright, and fun website.
I am so grateful I received the opportunity to work with building-U and experience the "behind-the-scenes" as a high school student development and communications intern from Puerto Rico. You really do get to see their values and dedication to students shine, and I could not be happier working with such an amazing organization :)
The building-U website is really easy to follow and presents information in a clear and concise way, with many, many opportunities available all in one place. Having a database of opportunities is extremely helpful as a high schooler, because I personally have trouble finding them all by myself. The programs that I like can be saved to one page, which is also super nice! I would suggest making the database more visually easy to navigate by color coding the programs by time frame (light yellow to orange, etc). Overall, this database is a tool I'll be using throughout high school!
