I was very fortunate when Allan moved back to Ontario from Alberta in 2012 - I had been planning my home renovation ever since my daughters became non-teenagers - Allan was introduced to me by a trusted friend just as I had nearly given up finding someone who could do all the work required to update my home, both the clean work & the dirty. Allan has redone my kitchen, insulated my attic, sealed my freezing drafty basement, replaced 2 doors & installed hardwood flooring in 2 bedrooms & a hallway - no small feats for a house nearly 150 years old where nothing is level or square. Before doing the insulating work Allan performed an energy audit where he installed a large fan on my front door so that he could locate all the leak points (there was a strong wind coming through in some places!) & repair them. My hydro & gas bills are now less than 4 years ago despite the rate increases & the comfort level is dramatically improved . Because of Allan I learned the practical meaning of the word serendipity - my daughter & her husband had been looking for more than a year for a house to replace the one her family had outgrown - she had found a great house in an excellent location but she had to decide quickly - frantically I phoned Allan explaining the urgency - Allan immediately put down what he was doing & that same morning did an inspection - Allan even located & transported the tallest ladder in the area to access the roof - 1 1/2 years later my daughter & family are thoroughly happy in the home which cost them substantially less than any other comparable house in their area. Recently he planned with them & redid their family room & will redo their kitchen in the near future, the 2 areas of the home which had needed updating. Another project Allan has also done was to redo a neighbour's bathroom & will be redoing their kitchen later this year.

Allan is very professional, friendly and easy to work with on any construction project. We highly recommend him.

We could not be more impressed with the work Allan has done for us. I called upon him to do our hardwood install, and were incredibly happy with the job.....enough so to ask him back to finish our basement from start to end. Our basement is now easily the nicest place in our house, especially our custom bathroom! Allan takes care to do the best possible job while respectfully going by the budget you place forth. I couldn't think of a better person or company to put into your hands for any of your renovation needs.
