We loved it. Just beautiful. The "key hole" side trail was spectacular. It is very rugged though, so best if you have hiking experience. Also note you do need to pay to park so go to the Nottawasaga Conservation site to pay before you go. Much easier, but you can pay from your phone at the parking area. Happy hiking!
Excellent range of trails easy to moderate, well maintained. Long and short loops or take off down the Bruce all day. Fields, forest and rocks. Keyhole loop is a must . Make sure to download map first though and stick to the trails.
Have all levels of trails.
Shaded Trails even in the rain was good.
Great views...dangerous edges! Awesome caverns.
Beautiful scenery
My wife has been wanting to hike here for some time and we finally made time. It was well worth it. The crevasse formations are extraordinary and, where they are moss-covered with scenic views of the lowlands as a backdrop, a camera can't do them justice. We also saw what I think were red tailed hawks, but I'm no bird expert. I can safely say they were birds of prey. Big birds of prey, and lots of them. The Trilliums were just starting to bloom, and in areas the floor was a sea of white, making it easy to appreciate it as the provincial flower. We were also lucky enough to see a red one, of which I was able to take a decidedly terrible photo. Unfortunately the sun was reflecting on my phone screen and it was hard to see, so of course the auto-focus thought the background would be more important.. clever that. I will have to go back.
