Great customer service and easy to use website for ordering hops rhizomes!

Lovely place! And the English-style oast house - used for drying hops - really sets it apart! Worth a visit for the estate alone. I bought eight Chinook rhizomes to plant in April and they all flourished on a garden trellis at home, growing hundreds of beautiful and fragrant hop cones. John's advice has been very helpful and he is happy to chat. Cheers!

Local hops farm run by Laurie and John. Largest in Ontario. Call to visit. They built a real European Post house and have z giant German thrasher to seperate the flower from vine. If you want to see how craft beer begins, it begins there. Both are very knowledgeable and can answer any question you have about any of their dozens of varieties.

The hops are incredible and fresh. Great business, and first rate customer service. Highly recommend.

I ordered rhizomes online. Clear Valley let me know the anticipated delivery times as well as an explanation as to why, reached out to me when the order was ready AND it was delivered when they said it would be! The very next day I received an e-mail with a fact sheet on how to take care of my rhizomes. The rhizomes themselves look very healthy and have the right amount of growth. I don't anticipate any issues with getting these started. I also appreciate that this is a proudly Canadian family-owned business. I would definitely recommend them and will be a repeat customer
