Captured By Kirsten

We hired Kirsten to be our photographer at our cottage wedding in September and to put it simply, she was wonderful to work with.

She was personable, kind, experienced and just generally a great person to have around. She quickly learnt our families’ Scottish and Welsh names (not an easy task) which brought a level of comfort and a feeling of friendship to the group. She was creative and her passion for photography was infectious, she made taking the photos a really fun and natural experience. We can’t say enough great things about her, we would absolutely recommend working with her for any type of event!

I cannot thank Kirsten enough for the lovely photos from our branding sessions. I signed on with her Gold Branding subscription package and have done two of three shoots so far. Kirsten is so accommodating and willing to incorporate my vision into our sessions. When I am at a loss for ideas, Kirsten is quick to jump in with suggestions.

She is an amazing director while photographing. With encouraging words and detailed instruction, she helps you pose to get the best shot. As someone who feels a bit awkward when taking photos, Kirsten's skills hid all that from the shots. They look natural, comfortable and incredibly professional. I am so happy with the results that Kirsten has provided me with.

As a debut author, it is important to have a lot of online content, professional website photos and a stunning author picture. I can confidently say that signing on with Kirsten's branding subscription package has provided me with all that and more.

I couldn’t have better things to say about my experience with Kirsten. She is talented beyond explanation. One of those “you have to experience it” type of situations. I’ve had two hour sessions with her on a few separate occasions, and the entire time I was always having the time of my life! She takes the stress out of photos, and brings such a calming, “I got this” attitude to the entire shoot. If there’s anything (wedding, headshots, business photos, baby photos... perhaps a lingerie shoot) that you need photos taken for, she’s your girl. You will leave your session feeling overjoyed and so excited to get your photos back. In other words, she will be the photographer I call to take pictures of all the milestones in my life! WOW. To say Kirsten exceeded my expectations is an understatement. I came into the studio for some simple headshots, and she blew me away. Kirsten was way more prepared than I was, and it wasn’t long before she was tossing out ideas and digging up props. The creativity and thoughtfulness of this girl is second to none. Not only did I come out of the session with some of the best photos of me ever taken, but the whole experience was so much fun — it felt like I was hanging out with a friend!

No matter what you need photos of, Kirsten is your girl.

Planning (or re-planning) a wedding during these crazy times was pretty stressful as we downsized our plans, but Kirsten provided such excellent service and professionalism as we figured things out on the go that day! Her experience was invaluable and we can't thank her enough for her flexibility, adaptability, kindness, and expertise!

Most of our friends and family weren't able to be there for the celebration, but Kirsten was able to capture such beautiful moments that I can't wait to share (when it's safe to visit everyone)!
