Right at Home Home Care - Georgian Triangle

I've been working for Right at Home for approximately 3 years and so that has given more then enough time to be able to give a full view of what it's like to work for them. What I really love about the company is that the office staff and management are awesome!! That's the beginning of being successful. They listen, are supportive, they accommodate my lifestyle. I prefer to work days and nights only. They are understanding and try very hard to provide me with the necessary shifts that I need to maintain my life. I get lots of hours and the hours that I've requested. Where else can you get that? I've worked in other jobs where the hours are set in stone, breaks are 15 minutes-your rushing to gulp down a coffee, it feels very oppressive and the tasks become very routine. I get to work with my residents, that I truly care for, and it's never the same thing day after day. I help with all aspects of care, take them on drives and outings, interact with families, i go to the retirement home and private homes where it's always a new setting. I sometimes get to partake in social activities that are apart of the retirement home, such as take a resident to a movie in the lounge area or listen to a jazz band. I've formed wonderful relationships with my residents and their family. I can tell that I make a difference in their lives. It's a job where you feel and know your needed. It's a truly rewarding and wonderful opportunity to work for Right at Home. Flexible hours, great work environment, supportive staff and best of all, wonderful residents that I truly enjoy to work with. Also, I have referred people to our great company and got a bonus of 200.00!! Being a part of Right at Home has changed my life for the better!!

Right at home has been wonderful to deal with since my father was involved in an accident and needed someone to come and assist with light housework and bathing. A BIG shout out to Nancy on the team. My father always looks forward to seeing her and she takes care of all the little details for him. This has also given me a great sense of relief knowing that there is a team out there such as Right at Home that cares so mush for people that need that special touch of assistance while still being able to stay in their own home. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Since enlisting the services of Right at Home Care our lives have improved in so many ways. My husband is receiving the personal care help he really needs from the most lovely, kind and efficient PSW, who also helps both of us by doing chores like laundry, meal prep and tidy up. She is so helpful, cheerful and positive. I highly recommend Right at Home Care!

I knew this day would come, but put it out of my mind and did ZERO planning.

So I was at a loss what to do after my Mom took a stroke last Thursday. She was very unhappy to leave her home and go to a long-term care facility, which didn't have any vacancies in any event.

Fortunately, a friend highly recommended Right At Home on Saturday, and Adrienne was able to immediately mobilize a care team for a Monday discharge from the overloaded hospital.

The Right at Home staff are very friendly, mature, empathetic and helpful. All forms of personal assistance are "in scope" with this team, from arranging blister packs at the pharmacy, to transportation to medical appointments to grocery purchase and meal preparation, to helpful tips on medical issues.

I could not recommend them more highly!

My experience with Right at Home has been tremendous. From the office through to the thoughtful and reliable care team, they helped me enormously in providing help for my mom in so many ways, and in helping to make sure she was comfortable and active over the past year.
