Very educational cpr coarse and Kevin was a very knowledgeable instructor. We enjoyed and learned a lot in the coarse. Hopefully we can help somebody out if needed. Would definitely take it next year.

The CPR /First Aid Course Kevin gave was indeed beneficial and informative! I highly recommend this course to everyone. I have taken a few CPR courses before but I learned a lot of new things from Kevin I did not know before. His teaching style was easy to follow, keeps you engaged and encourages discussions.

Kevin's teaching style of using basic anatomy to explain various real life applications to first aid techniques and, more importantly, why we use them. No videos, no written work, no notes, no problem, easy to follow and lots of practice. I don't learn well from a textbook. Personally, I "learn-by-doing" and Kevin provided plenty of practical exercises, including using himself as a practice tool e.g. recovery position. Many of the techniques and hacks were very useful and, amazingly, I still retain the knowledge. I hope I never break my arm or ankle and have to use his sling technique. But that is the point of first aid training. You hope you never have to use it but Kevin has given me both the knowledge and confidence to use it when necessary. By far the most INFORMATIVE First Aid Training I’ve taken. Having taken First Aid every 2 years for the last 15+ years I was expecting another long day of dry material. I was pleasantly surprised! Our instructor incorporated each participant’s life experiences and career field to provide realistic scenarios and explained not only the appropriate First Aid required but also the physiological WHY behind it!!
In a timely and concise format we covered everything from camping mishaps to roadside first on scene treatment. I feel much more informed and confident providing First Aid in the future!
