Great garden centre very helpful good prices I highly recommend it.
Your experience depends on who's working. Last visit there was a very pleasant young lady who knew very little about the product, pricing or suitability. She was alone, answering phones while there was a line of customers. ...blew off all customers when her boss called and she was obviously scared/worried....then had to run off to get what the boss wanted. Told me to call/come back next morning when someone would be in to answer my questions. ( my questions were...pricing, availability and quantity required for paving stones). She was pleasant and tried yo help as best she could, but obviously way too early in her training to be left alone. Most times the service is knowledgeable and helpful, and their pricing is competitive. ...but you may need to go back another time for answers.
Sam the owner is very helpful, they are very busy there, usually a line up. Only 1 girl working on counter. The lady that takes care of the plants and flowers is very knowledgeable. She is a people person. Very nice and friendly. She has worked at the garden center for over 7 years. I will go back to deal with her. Keep up the great work you do! (Sorry I don't remember her name). Thank you again.
My significant other and I have been going to Kell’s & Sam since I came home to Canada and returned to the area 7 yrs ago.
Sam has always been helpful knowledgeable and professional and often cuts us deals based on being loyal & frequent customers, on prices that already beat local competitors. Delivery has always been on time and exact, product has been ‘what’ we were paying for, and staff has always been helpful and friendly.
So much so I even had referred students for summer help - who appreciated and enjoyed the experience of working there.
We will continue to frequent Kell’s as it is a community-conscious business which never fails to satisfy us.
