Let me start by saying when I came to Simcoe Knee and Shoulder I was totally a massage person and did not believe in chiropractic at all. My knee was so sore I could not sleep from the pain and I was unable to walk up my three front steps without pulling myself with the railings. I saw the ad in my local paper and decided what do I have to lose as my Doctor was talking knee surgery. I called and made my first appt to be assessed, then almost backed out due to fear of chiropractors. I met the lovely Marianne that runs the office. She is so wonderful, caring and awesome to talk to. Then I met Dr Richard Avery...he is terrific! Dr Avery is a very knowledgeable, caring and interesting fellow. He knows so much about muscles, joints and bones it is amazing. He works his magic while keeping you in the loop on what he is doing and why and what the expected outcome will be week after week. I now have no more knee pain and I can sleep like a baby at night pain free. Stairs are no longer a problem for me. I do a lot of walking for my job and I am so very grateful to Dr Avery for all he has done to get my knee and me back into walking and climbing conditionwithout surgery. Oh and I no longer have a fear of Chiropractors. Thanks Dr Avery and Marianne for your knowledge, caring and support.

I chose Dr. Richard’s treatment. I have been very happy with the results. Now my pain is so less then when I started. I'm glad i went this route. I am able to keep up with the exercise routine Dr. Richard recommended. The doctor and staff at this clinic are exceptional

The complete package was very positive, with Marianne managing the office and always making you feel positive Richard taking you through the treatment, explaining the process and ensure I was comfortable with the results. The severe knee pain was treated and from March 2021 to October 2021. Through the treatments at the office, following the exercise regiment (fairly close) by the the fall my knees were in good enough shape for long walks 6-8k. Dr Avery performed treatments on my 92 year old mother who had chronic knee and shoulder pain for years. The treatments have greatly reduced the discomfort in those areas. The education he gave us on strengthening the areas was so valuable .
As she is know able to do some conditioning exercises to build up strength, something she couldn’t previously do.
We found Dr Avery and Marianne to be wonderful Health care Providers, who took deep interest in finding relief and happiness for my now comfortable mother.
