Fern Resort

I went with my family and a few friends. From the moment we entered the resort to the time we left I loved every moment. The rooms were cozy, the staff was amazing and the activities were perfect. ( especially when almost all of them were free)

The Stay was great! We were celebrating our 25th Anniversary and wanted a one night getaway in the end of January. We got a fireplace and a jacuzzi in the room. Two fireplace paper logs were in the room but it was a cold day so we went into town and bought another box of paper logs which we used all but one during our overnight stay. There was a small fridge in the room and a coffee machine. Three meals were included, Dinner on the day of arrival, Breakfast the next morning and Lunch before you leave. The meals were great! During the winter months, you must arrive for meals sometime during the one hour period that is set out. The Room was clean and very comfortable. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The dining room staff were friendly and attentive. The staff worked very hard and removed the thick ice on the pathways that was left from the storm the day before we arrived. We definitely will go back.

We go every year and keep coming back! As a single mom, I can’t handle the work of renting a cottage so this place provides a cottage experience without the work! My kids love it and look forward every year. The kids club is great and So are the water activities. Food is only okay.

Awesome Resort, with great food and great staff. I have been there on family day weekend for the past 3 years! The moment we walked in we were greeted and promptly checked into our room. The room was very nice, but just served as a sleeping place for us. We did many activities including the snowmobile riding (100% WORTH the extra cost), skating trail, and ice fishing. It was such a great experience for the last few years that I've been in the winter, I wish to go to the summer. Nonetheless, this place is lives up to expectations as a family friendly getaway.

Have removed one star due to the increasing price to go here on family day weekend. Was looking to book for 2019, but prices have skyrocketed. On the more expensive side of family day getaways now, looking for something cheaper might be a better option.
