(September 26, 2020, 7:50 pm)My favourite hike in the Washago Area. When combined with the Simcoe County Forest Turnbull Tract and the Parks Canada Laneway beside the Severn River, this is a nice 5 k walk /ski/snowshoe, and I always seem to have an interesting wildlife encounter.
(September 22, 2020, 3:34 pm)Love this trail. Watch for the trail markers on trees. Not heavily used, so ferns and planta grow quite tall and you have to pay attention to where trail is going. Links up to Simcoe County Forest. Beware of bugs in spring!! Great spot for bird watching. Download a trail map from The Couchiching Conservancy website.
