I worked here for 6 months a couple of years ago and loved it! I've always wanted to be a farmer and they taught me a lot about livestock and gardening. They are into herbal remedies and permaculture and I had the opportunity to help them with lots of tasks like building garden boxes, gardening, barn chores, lambing, shearing, chopping firewood, etc. They are both CREATIVE and FUN individuals. And to address the 1 star reviews, I bet I can shed light on what's happened. The point of placing a deposit on the pups is for security that the owner saves the one you picked for you. If you decide after the fact that you no longer want the puppy, why would she give you the deposit back? I know when I lived/ worked there all pups had their shots and I assume she still does it that way today. Although she has a bunch of adult dogs they are all cared for and loved. They eat kibble mixed with cooked chicken, beef, etc and are healthy. The farm is a work in progress, but which farm isn't?
