We moved to Collingwood 1.5 years ago and I wanted to find a club for my daughter to learn self defence. Multi disciplinary approach with a fantastic instructor and caring martial arts family community. So glad we found Barton’s Martial Arts.

It's not everyday that you find a Dojo that shows so much patience and kindness and care when teaching martial arts at this level. I've sent my son for 2 years and he thoroughly enjoys it and a great wide selection of classes and ages and the instructors are second to none. I will not send him anywhere else. So happy we have found this place.

Kind, caring, professional and very skilled/knowledgeable instructors. Sensei with his many Senpais teach all students the life long skills necessary not only in self defence but in becoming a strong, dedicated martial artist. Their commitment to every element of self defense and martial arts is impressive.

I initially signed my daughter up for karate but after only a few classes of watching and listening to the important life-long skills Sensei was teaching I decided, "I needed a piece of it" as well. I started with karate but then once I tried jiujitsu I was addicted to that as well. It will be a year in the fall and one of the best decisions I made. Very welcoming but professional. If you want to promote good-old-fashion self discipline and respect for yourself or your children you've got the right place.
