My family and I had a very unique memorable experience!
I knew about the site existed in the past 35 years but this is the first time I come inside. Loved the idea of having all 50+ replicas life-sized dinosaurs (and other extinct species) lined around a well-manicured maintained pathway. We will certainly come back for a visit.
BTW: Staff ONLY accepts cash, so be mindful of that.
Amazing place to visit!
Beautiful property with amazing sculptures!
We all loved it kids and adults
Open 10-4, cash only
Facebook has the wrong hours since he doesn't run the page but you can call the number for seasonal operation times
This was our second year visiting the park and the kids, aged 5, 3 and 1 all loved it! The mosquitoes were bad the day we went and we forgot our shovels for the sand pit but we still had a great time. I was excited to see that they are working on expanding the pathway! Current admission fees can be seen in my photo. We always follow this with a trip to the Earl Baker park and splash pad in Morrisburg for a full day out.
Great time walking around the grounds with my wife and son. This place has aged really well and stood the test of time.
Awesome bang for your buck! Highly recommended!
Worth the drive from Ottawa if you have young kids. My 3 year old had an absolute blast. The cost to enter is very reasonable. You're not paying for any extra 'frills', just for upkeep.
The owners work very hard to make sure the grounds are clean and manicured. They even offer bug spray if you require some (you'll need it).
There are no food vendors on site, so bring your own food. There are picnic tables and lots of shady spots on the grass for a picnic.
As for the dinosaur's, my kid loved running to and from all of them (there are dozens). They come in all shapes and sizes. The pathways and lawns are well maintained and allow you to get up close to all of the statues. Lots of great photo opportunities to be had.
We ended up spending about 2.5 hours here, including lunch. Great place to go for a day trip from Ottawa, highly recommended!
