Darcy's No Frills

Will not go into there ever again because they will try to force a person who is claustrophobic to wear a mask.
Their employees are rude and have no respect for the customers.

Definitely great for customer service. Everyone working is friendly and efficient. Not as large as some other stores so they have a smaller section of baby food etc but usually well stocked and everything you need.

I was in the store bagging my groceries tonight when an employee confronted a man who was trying to steal a bunch of groceries. The young man did very, very well at controlling the situation while trying to get the man to unload all the items he had stashed in his jacket. The young man wasn't rude and he wasn't aggressive, he was calm and assertive. He did very well and kept the scene to a minimum. Although he knew very well the man didn't hand over everything he was stealing, he did not try to chase the man and never attempted to put his hands on him. I was incredibly impressed with the way the situation was handled. He even apologized for the scene afterwards even though he certainly had nothing to be sorry for. If ever there was an employee worthy of appreciation, this young man is it.
