Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Thunder Bay

Our room was amazing and comfortable. Bed was great. Quality of everything was high end, except the grab and go breakfast, that was something I would give to someone in grade school.

Family suite was big. Everything was clean. People at the front desk were nice. Had no problem asking for extra shampoo, towels and blanket. Breakfast to go bag had a muffin, apple, granola bar and a bottle of water. No buffet due to Covid. Also, no shame in wearing masks in this area compared to the other cities we passed by along the way.

Staff: friendly. Room: fantastic. But this review is mostly to thank Alexia from front desk who checked for, found, and personally shipped to me the cashmere cardigan I left behind. When speaking with her, she kindly acknowledged the value the piece had to me and promised to find the best deal, even going so far as using her own resources to drop the package off at Canada Post before charging the fee to the room. This personal touch will stay with me. I’d like to thank Alexia for her willing spirit in delivering warm, memorable customer service. Also, location is super close to Starbucks! An overall comfortable stay.

Parking is great. Check-in was quick. Value for price paid. I would repeat if ever making my way back through Thunder Bay, ON.
