Great selection and friendly service.

I've been a customer of The Bookshelf for nearly 30 years and I've never had a bad experience. The staff are always friendly and helpful, the store always organized, clean, and well stocked. As its almost entirely a used bookstore, you won't find new releases and best sellers are often in and out quickly. For classics, old favorites, and books that were hot just a few weeks ago; you can count on finding something great to read.

Books in lightly used condition are good for store credit (I think its still 25% cover price), and books purchased there are always returnable under the same conditions. Definitely the local Mecca for avid, spendthrifty readers.

Love it. My kids can take their time and find and get more of what they want, we can support local business, and I know that we're getting something that will make them use their imagination.

A great store with wonderful staff. They have an extensive collection of books from all genres at good used prices. The attached gameshelf means they also have a good selection of game resource texts also.

The owner was very knowledgeable about a variety of authors and books that I inquired about. The store has a great selection of books that I didn't know I could still find (being out of print). Overall a great place to spend a few hours perusing.
