Gravel River Resort

Nicely maintained roadside motel/restaurant/gift shop with considerate owners who went so far as to deliver food we ordered to our room. Gift shop has many unique items and some really high end moccasins..which we would have bought if we didn't already have some. Overall, highly customer centred business.

Very scenic view of Lake Superior from the motel front, just cross the road and you have a lovely view. Good for nature walks. Looked to be a great fishing spot as well....our time was pressed, so no lines were cast...Sadly.

Clean and friendly.

Great little spot near a provincial park. My friend and I called everywhere near Terrace Bay and it was booked. The owner told us there was a room and he stayed late for us to arrive and even kept the kitchen open late to make us burgers and fries. Clearly run by people who care and will go above and beyond for their guests. This is a simple place to rest your head for the night. Don’t expect the Ritz. Loved the old school feel to this place. The TVs were a nice throwback. Shocked they still work. Loved this place and brought me back to a simpler time. Would recommend for a classic hwy motel experience.
