E-Comp (Computer Repair, Service and Data Recovery)

Needed a new desktop but didn't want to buy pre-made from HP or Dell etc.. I reached out to E-Comp thinking I would be able to coordinate the computer build at each stage since I'm just dealing with one individual. Really it was the open communication with Colby that became the deal breaker for me since no big company could offer this kind of support for the price (especially in the future if I ever want to upgrade the computer or need repairs done). Overall great experience.

I work in a corporate office (10-15 employees) and one of our desktop computers had issues and wouldn't boot up properly. We initially took the desktop to Canada Computers for repair and they charged us approximately $400-$500 to have the CPU replaced. So they did the repair, but the exact same problem persisted... Pretty embarrassing to have been charged that much money for a part replacement that didn't even fix the problem. Obviously we didn't go back there and instead tried out E-Comp. A couple of days later, Colby found the actual issue and resolved it without the need for us to spend extra on new hardware. At our request, Colby also provided us with a super detailed list of all the troubleshooting he did along with several scans and diagnostic tests that we kept for our records. Really amazing work, and his fees are very reasonable.

One evening my laptop expanded out of the blue and I wasn't sure what to do, but I had a feeling that it wasn't safe to use anymore (even though it was still working fine.) A friend suggested E-Comp so I reached out and Colby responded very quickly and advised me what to do. The next morning he arrived to remove the swollen battery and ordered a new one for me. Colby is very knowledgeable and the service he provided exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend to anyone!

E-Comp Repairs / Ethan was wonderful to work with from beginning to end and was very communicative throughout the whole process. I would highly recommend for anyone looking for great work done at a very competitive price. Will use again if I need any more help.
