My daughters (ages 7 and almost 9) have been going to cadence for five years and they absolutely love it. The school is run professionally, and classes are taught by excellent teachers – well trained, talented, caring and patient. They put a lot of focus on technique and make sure that even the youngest of students get started on the right foot on their dance journey. My daughters have both learned an impressive amount about dance (especially considering their age) since starting at Cadence and, more importantly, have gained so much confidence. They have also found a strong sense of community and feel connected to the school, the faculty and all the students. Participating in the online classes offered throughout covid helped them stay connected to their classmates and the studio – and helped get them through all the lockdowns.
Our family can’t say enough great things about this studio. We look forward to many more years of dancing with them.
My daughter started training this year at the School of Cadence Ballet and I couldn’t be more impressed with the school. The level of training is high and provided by very reputable teachers. The most important aspect that I am impressed with is how positive and nurturing the environment is for my daughter. The teachers are wonderful in providing that encouragement while at the same time providing high calibre training evidenced by all the awards won. My daughter is learning discipline, determination, and building up her confidence. The onboarding and administration were very organized, (even despite the covid situation) and I am so happy that we found this school. I only wish we found it sooner!
My daughter has been attending The School of Cadence Ballet for the past 3-years and we couldn't be happier with the quality of instruction she has been receiving. Despite a large portion of her training being during Covid, she has still been able to improve and work towards reaching her full potential due to the amazing staff and their commitment to their dancers.
Cadence's approach is to focus on the dancer as a whole. Their mental and physical well-being are both equally as important. Students work very hard and their teachers have high expectations, at the same time the staff are extremely positive and encouraging. As well the school itself creates a warm and family-oriented environment. The students support each other and the parents are also there for each other.
We have been so happy with the results of our daughter's training with The School of Cadence Ballet. She along with many of the students have been accepted to and encouraged to attend international summer intensives like The Royal Ballet School, Paris Opera, ABT, and many more.
If you are looking for a ballet school The School of Cadence Ballet should be top of your list
Training at the School of Cadence Ballet is a multi-faceted approach. Proper technique is of course a priority but they also focus on the dancer as a whole. By building physical strength students are more likely to avoid injury and establish the stamina needed for the rigors of live performances. The teachers focus on the mental health of the dancer by providing a highly positive and encouraging learning environment complete with numerous audition and performance opportunities. Most important to this parent, they strengthen the emotional growth of the students which results in confident dancers who are not threatened by the abilities of another dancer but rather they can appreciate and applaud the hard work and dedication that went into a competitor's grace and skill.
It's difficult to explain what Cadence has done for our daughter because it's more than just a dance studio. It's fun but it's serious. It's hard work but it's rewarding. It's everything you'd want in a studio to help develop your son or daughter into something more. Students come from far and wide to train here because of the reputation of its teachers. Will my daughter become a prima ballerina? It's possible. Has her training at Cadence instilled a work ethic and determination to succeed in her we wouldn't have otherwise seen? Without a doubt. Easiest five stars I've ever given.
