Canadian Institute of Floral Design

“The most beautiful flowers I have ever seen.”

That was what we heard throughout our wedding day and in the months since.

Don Waltho and Melissa Christina and their team from the Canadian Institute of Floral Design, decorated our wedding and it was above and beyond anything we could have imagined. Not only did they manage to work around flower shortages due to the pandemic, but they also had to deal with major wedding changes just a month prior to the date (from a smaller entirely outdoor wedding to a larger wedding with outdoor ceremony and indoor reception).

We met with Don and Melissa twice, giving them the details of the wedding/bridal party and what we were generally hoping for. We gave them some photo inspiration of other wedding decor we had seen that we liked, and then they did the rest. They provided us an archway, flower stands, runners, candles, boutonnieres, bouquets, garlands and centerpieces. The arrangements were truly a work of art, but don’t take our word for it, see pictures below for examples.

And not only was their décor amazing, but these are two incredibly kind and good-natured people. They were absolutely a pleasure to work with and we cannot recommend them enough!

Amazing instructors and clean facility to learn in!

I had an amazing three weeks learning from Don, Sarah, Rada and Sarah. Very hands-on and informative. The course itself was very intensive and comprehensive. You will definitely come out with the skills you need to succeed. You will meet some good friends along the way.

Love love this school staff and many great people you meet. So much learning and fun. Best life decision ever!
