Blacksmith Public School

Do parents know that the school/teachers are taking the kids off school property? As a concerned neighbor, I wonder if the parents/guardians of the kids know that kids are being taken off school property and brought to the park and fields to use the facilities off school property. I know parents are supposed to be informed and sign consent/permission letters, not sure if they have or not but apparently kids have recently been harassed by someone during these outing. I know this because when we walk our dogs in the park and the police asked us if we had seen or heard anything about this and they asked us to keep a look out for the person of interest. I think parents should be made aware of the situation if they haven't already.
