This is one of the few Buddhist temple that focus on original scroll regarding Buddhism philosophy. There are free organized courses like Buddhism 101 that starts with history and walk through for different branches of Buddhist philosophy all the way to the highest theory. I was able to finally truly understand Buddhism after the basic and the advance courses offered (from Sept to around May each one) and then joined the Meditation class that lasted 1.5 years afterwards. Now I can understand a lot more Buddhism books and able to tell the difference.
