FreshCo Don Mills & Helen Lu

I found this to be good place fresh food and vegetables. The meats are prepackaged because for the size of the store have on site butcher.the have different items for different ethnics, making the floor distribution a bit confusing a the beginning, but I got used to it.
After some months that I am doing my shopping here, I could tell that most of the staff are young people.
Also I have learned that I have to check carefully the items that I get here. For example, I got a package of Bologna here, in a good price, and two days later when I tried to used I found out that package was already opened and some slices missing and meat was going green. I guess someone did his/her lunch at work. That makes me wonder the safety of the food handling here.

New store just opened, so went to check it out. I ended up buying some cheese wraps. It came with 4 wraps in a pack, for over $7.00. I got home and was just about to make my lunch when i opened the pack and it was all moldy. Since i am 5 minutes away, i walked back and returned it. They didn't seem concerned at all. So they have now lost a customer. Mind you the store layout is really nice, bright and clean, but not sure how long it will stay that way!

New store so they still figuring out a lot of things. Fresh vegetables stock wasn't up to mark. Store layout also not the best. Management can improve the staff knowledge and some basic Language training to how to help customers find the product will be useful for them.

Great assortment and great prices. Store is very clean and tidy. Layout is also very good. You'll probably find everything you need. Friendly and helpful staff by the way.
