My husband I met dancing to the Marc Joseph band, and so one of the easiest decisions we made after getting engaged was asking them to be a part of our wedding day.  When COVID happened, we had to cancel our large summer 2020 wedding..MJB stood by us and told us they'd 'be there' whenever we rescheduled.  We were finally able to set a new date, just over a year and a half later.. but after finalizing all the details for our intimate winter wedding set (Kim is amazing at this- thank you for all your emails!) - new COVID restrictions dropped a mere 24hrs before our wedding, causing us to need to push our start time 3 hrs earlier. Again, the entire MJB team (Kim, Marc and the guys) all seamlessly re-shuffled, like the pros they are, to be there for us. They knew exactly what to do to get the sound and feel 'right' for our space and  not only saved a party atmosphere that we almost lost in the literal final hours, but blew our expectations- and that of all our guests- out of the water! Our guests can't stop commenting on what a great show you all put on. You absolutely made our party, and we cannot wait to dance to you guys again soon (No doubt at one of our guests' future weddings, as I'm sure you'll be getting some phone calls!!) We've had the pleasure, not once but twice ! We first met the Band at a wedding in 2017; the couple had hired our DJ company to provide music during the Band's sets. The MJB were wonderful to work alongside and brought so much energy with them and each member were very genuine. We would not hesitate and look forward to the same opportunity at a future event.

Our second time was last week for our daughter's wedding. When she and her husband were looking for a band I sent them straight to the Marc Joseph Band and told them to look no further. Our daughter was so impressed, from start of conversation to the night itself.

Kim (band's Operations Manager) is so lovely and quick with responses and suggestion and most of all caring of her client's needs. Kim ensures your event is thoroughly thought-out, leaving you feel 1000% confident.

As for the "guys"... Marc, Ayden, Zica, Renato and Danny - they are so talented and fun and personable. The music style and range of genres was the perfect mix. The dance floor was busy all night, everyone was talking about what a great time they were having and even days later. The guys were interactive with the guests and the couple, it was like the bride and groom's own private concert ! Our daughter had 2 special requests: a specific song for the father/daughter dance (which the band learned specifically) and 2nd, the couple wanted a family member to sing their 1st dance. The band were so accommodating on both these and made the singer feel well supported during the performance, true professionals ! During their sets they brought their own DJ (Andrew Sztein) who had the dance floor equally busy. Andrew was also wonderful and accommodating. We got married last November and could not be happier in choosing the Marc Joseph Band to play at our reception! From the moment we connected with the team, they were professional, down to earth, attentive to our vision and respectful of the budget we had to work with.

We did our homework upfront when searching, and went to watch multiple bands perform across the city. In seeing the MJB band perform twice at two very different venues, we knew we had to choose them to play for our big day. Out of all the bands, they excelled at keeping the audience on their feet, and transitioning into different music genres that would keep the party flowing.

Leading up to the wedding, the team was nothing short of incredible to work with. They checked in with us at various points to keep us on track, and were super accommodating in incorporating surprises that came along the way. They also shared their expertise in working with various vendors, which allowed us to be prepared when attending other meetings.

On the night of, just as we hoped, the band was PHENOMENAL. We received compliments from every one of our guests (even still 3 months later!), and all of the other vendors we worked with. They shared that this was one of the best weddings they have been too, by and large because of how incredible the music was all night. Our extended family members are even planning to go watch the band at an upcoming event.

THE MJB Band truly made our day, and we could not recommend them enough. Seriously, save your time and stop looking — they are the best one out there!!!

MJB performed at our wedding this past September and performed exceptionally well. Following the wedding I received incredible feedback about how amazing “the band” performed and how much fun they (my guests) had.
Unlike many wedding bands that I’ve heard before MJB doesn’t have a “Poppy” sound to them. Although the band can still perform top 40 songs really well their exceptional guitar and singing skills allow them to play classic rock and Spanish songs amazing well! My guests were completely surprised by how talented the band is. We asked them to play “Harvest Moon” by Neil Young as our first song and Marc sang it perfectly. They surprised us by learning Roy Orbison’s “You Got It” and they did a phenomenal job. Honestly, we couldn’t be happier.

On the business side of things MJB was very supportive throughout the whole process. From getting the quote, to planning the night and right up to the last minutes prior to celebrating David and Kim were great. I really appreciate their professionalism and support.
Sarah and I are so pleased that we hired MJB and we look forward to seeing them perform again at a venue near us soon!
